The bad mom club - From mom guilt to mom glory

As mothers, we are torn by mixed messages.

On one end, we are told that we should aim to be selfless and ever present for our children. On the other, we are told we need to double down on our self-care and “me time” to avoid burnout.
What results from this crash of expectations is a sense of guilt and shame that leaves us split in half and unable to fully embrace all of the various roles life asks of us.

This workshop series is a way out of this frozen state and into a richer experience of motherhood and life as a whole.

Authentic communication (NVC) for professionals

When we know that workplace conflict costs Canadian businesses over two billion dollars a year, it is logical and smart to choose to put energy, time and money in learning good communication skills at work.

Reconnect can help you and your organization achieve its goals by improving communication, relationships intelligence and conflict resolution.

This workshop series is designed to:

  • help team members to be more clear and efficient in their communications and establish trust

  • learn to address successfully challenging conversations and situations.

  • learn skills to engage in conflicts rather than avoiding them

  • improve meetings by transforming never ending conversation in meaningful interactions.

Compassionate Communication (NVC) Level 2 Spring Retreat

Integrating NVC into your life is a journey. It has many twists and turns and most definitely pitfalls along the way. The level of results you’re getting is in direct proportion to how much time and energy you invest. Empathy buddies, practice groups and continued training are some of the most efficient ways to further your path of integration and more importantly improve the relationship(s) with yourself and those you care about. In our experience consistently showing up to NVC communities particularly in the foundation building phase of learning NVC is very helpful in maintaining momentum and being able to really use it in your life as a daily habit.

In this training we are getting into it! Reinforcing the foundations of empathy skills and NVC consciousness but also exploring how to navigate the more nuanced and complex dynamics that can arise in work/home/romantic/friendship relationships.

Transforming the voices in your head - In person

We all have a little voice inside of ourselves that often criticizes us, telling us that we are not good enough, we could be more efficient, more creative, have a better body, be more organized... What if this voice was preventing us to live what we really yearn for?

In this workshop, Myriam invites us to transform the way we talk to ourselves. Participants will develop a capacity to hear themselves with warmth and understanding. We'll be listening deeply to what is happening inside of us, behind the judgment. This is a powerful way to find peace inside of us and the energy to live the life we dream of.

This workshop is based on Nonviolent Communication, a powerful approach developed by Marshal Rosenberg. It is open to all people having at least 10 hours of training in this approach.
