  • reconnect 38 Victoria Crescent Nanaimo, BC, V9R 5B8 Canada (map)

You have done some NVC training but would need support to continue integrating it in your life? Join our practice group!

The practice group will always start by a session of 2 by 2 empathy, and then we will explore the theme of the day, a specific NVC skill, through exercises and conversations.

You will be accompanied by two experienced facilitators, Myriam Verzat and Fernanda Siles.

Next sessions, 4:30 to 6:30pm Pacific Time:

May 4- Needs consciousness : We will dive into the shared territory of needs and explore how these energies live in us.

May 11- Transforming conflict with creativity : We will explore how creativity can support us into brainstorming strategies that tend to the needs of all the people involved in the conflict.

May 18 - Dissolving judgement with empathy : We will practice approaching our judgments with curiosity and support to find the needs behind them and reconnect with holding ourselves and others with compassion.

May 25 - Exploring shame: We will explore the impact of shame in our lives and how to transform our shame into self-acceptance.

June 1st- Gratitude: We will explore expressing our gratitudes and mournings as two ways of appreciating the gifts of what is.

“Myriam is a deeply intuitive NVC workshop facilitator. She spends just enough time on the theoretical aspects interspersed with many experiential exercises and real-life examples. I found her knowledge of NVC and many available NVC resources totally empowering. Myriam also shared some examples of her own personal journey which put me at ease right away. In doing this, she creates a completely safe space. Because of her background in dance and theatre, she is skilled at connecting to her body cues and feeling her emotions somatically which is so inspiring. Through her patient and constructive guidance, I learned to bring more awareness to my emotions and needs in the present moment. I learned that every time I am am able to connect with and express my true feelings and needs, I will build momentum for my authentic self and resilience.” Geneviève Layton-Cartier
