Les nuances

Les nuances is a new musical project involving 5 musicians and 2 dancers. We perform francophone songs accompanied by 2 professional hip hop and contemporary dancers. It’s a set with quite varied style of music (from Renaud to Stromae) that will make you want to stand up and dance.

Lila

Lila is an interactive performance that was born out of play. It was born out of a liberating and community play that emerged through a restrictive pandemic. With the Silent Disco technology, a core group of dancers started to connect to the landscape to dance, to dive into our collective space and to play in it. It was presented twice in 2021 and 2022 in Nanaimo.

ReCONNECT

In 2014, I directed and performed in an interactive dance and theatre show in Montreal. It was depicting the range of hidden emotions we experience in the face of the ecological crisis. The show was featuring 7 artists, dancers, actors and musicians and including choreographed and improvised elements. The concept of the show was inspired by the Work that reconnects developed by Joana Macy. It was presented three times at the Mainline Theatre in Montreal in 2014

Freedom is internal

Freedom is internal was a solo dance performance presented for the Infringing 2020 performance. The isolation during COVID has not been easy for lots of people. It has not been easy for me. The process of creating this piece also allowed me to explore where I could find resilience and strength inside of me, no matter what happened outside. It was a beautiful, sometimes painful process.

The Hub City Bounce Back

The Hub City Bounce back was a free one day mini-festival of dance and music I organized for Crimson Coast dance Society in the spring of 2022. It was held at Maffeo Sutton Park, Nanaimo and featured 2 live bands, 2 DJs, a family play zone, lantern making and lantern ceremony, dress up tent, parade, dance cypher, and evening dance/ silent disco.

Lindex

In 2011, I founded an improvisation group that developed a unique vocabulary using the body, the words and music to create meaningful improvisations. It ran for six years in Montreal with about two to four performances each year.

Ollin Theatre Transformation

I was part of a playback theatre group for two years in Montreal as dancer and actor. Playback Theatre is an original form of improvisational theatre in which audience or group members tell stories from their lives and watch them enacted on the spot.
